"Party Like It's 1899"

a Steampunk
themed party

From Vanessa Ives in “Penny Dreadful” to Robert Downy Jr. as “Sherlock Holmes,” Steampunk is an inspired movement of creativity and imagination. With a backdrop of places like Victorian England or America's “Wild Wild West,” modern technologies are re-imagined and realized as elaborate works of art, fashion, and mechanics.

Whether you’re donning modern cocktail attire or something more dashing, get your Steampunk groove on and come celebrate with us as we power public service!

Kate Dewey Award

For Lifetime Achievement in Public Service

Kate Dewey exemplifies the Jefferson Awards Foundation's mission to "Power others to have the maximum impact on the things they care about most." In tribute to her lifetime of service in growing & supporting organizations and individuals that better our communities, especially here in Pittsburgh, we are proud to dedicate this award to honor her in 2017, and to honor others in her name for years to come. We believe that celebration is inspiration. Kate has accomplished much and inspired so many in her lifetime, and we look forward to advancing her legacy by recognizing others in service each year with this prestigious award.
